Christ Church, Balaklava

Originally built and opened in 1884, the church was built anew and enlarged in 1925. The stone building is trimmed with red brick cornices and colourbond-Manor red roof and guttering. 

 

Primarily a farming district, the area boasts hay exporters, chicken farms, silos and meat works.

 

The congregation have a children's ministry group and bible study group, and support many programmes including ABM, BCA, HMF, Anglicare Willochra and Mission to Seafarers.
